Riječka planinarska obilaznica (RPO)
Riječki planinarski savez je u listopadu/oktobru 2021. godine otvorio Riječku planinarsku obilaznicu (RPO) – obnovljenu i znatno proširenu nekadašnju Riječku transverzalu. Radi se o 163 kilometra dugom planinarskom putu od Lovrana do Crikvenice, preko najljepših predjela Učke, Ćićarije, Grobničkih Alpi i Gorskoga kotara. |
Obilaznica Sveti vrhovi hrvatskih planina
U jesen 2021. godine simbolično je, uoči blagdana Svih svetih, svečano otvorena nova planinarska obilaznica HPD-a “Zagreb-Matica” pod nazivom “Sveti vrhovi hrvatskih planina”. Ova obilaznica u svojoj idejnoj podlozi ima kulturološko-mitološku priču koja povezuje staroslavensku i kršćansku tradiciju na prostoru današnje Hrvatske, a koja se posebno vidljivo očituje na njezinim planinama. Dbnevnik Planinarske obilaznice Sveti vrhovi hrvatskih planina je knjižica od 116 stranica, s 32 zadane kontrolne točke, razasute po cijeloj Hrvatsko,od kojih jenajviše u Dalmaciji, na dalmatinskim planinama i otocima. U uvodnom su dijelu date i osnovne informacije o staroslavenskoj mitologiji i svetim vrhovima, opisi kontrolnih točaka obilaznice obiluju zanimljivim podacima i pričama o pojedinim vrhovima, a njezin su sastavni dio i kratki životopisi kršćanskih svetaca te obilježja staroslavenskih božanstava na koje još uvijek postoji uspomena na našim planinama i čija imena nose njihovi vrhovi. |

15.6.2014. u Bujama je svečano otvorena prva dionica Europskih pješačkih putova kroz Hrvatsku. E-12 je jedan o dvanaest europskih pješačkih putova koji je predviđen da pješačkim dionicama obalama Mediterana spoji Gibraltar i Atenu. Prvu dionicu europskog pješačkog puta E-12 od Plovanije do Poreča, u dužini 60 km, realizirana je, uz pomoć HPS, radom Istarskih planinara na čelu s g. Vladimirom Rojnićem, predsjednikom Istarskog planinarskog saveza.

Hrvatska planinarska obilaznica (HPO)
Hrvatska planinarska obilaznica (HPO) je najveća i ujedno najpopularnija planinarska obilaznica u Hrvatskoj. Obuhvaća najatraktivnije vrhove u svim hrvatskim planinama. Namjera Hrvatskog planinarskog saveza kod osnivanja obilaznice nije bila samo dovesti što više ljudi na zanimljive vrhove nego ih uputiti da ljepote hrvatskih planina upoznaju sustavno, ciljano i osmišljeno. Obilazak HPO-a idealan je način za temeljito i sustavno upoznavanje svih hrvatskih planina i njihovih najatraktivnijih vrhova pa su planinari koji dovrše obilazak i steknu visoka priznanja HPO-a u pravilu ponajbolji poznavatelji planinskih ljepota Hrvatske.
Hrvatsku planinarsku obilaznicu priredila je Komisija za planinarske putove HPS-a, a otvorena je 14. svibnja 2000. prigodom obilježavanja 125. obljetnice planinarstva u Hrvatskoj.
Tijekom godina broj kontrolnih točaka, koje su raspoređene u 20 planinarskih područja, se je mjenjao. Trenutno obilaznica ima 158 vrhova.
Jedine kontrolne točke koje nisu vrhovi su Alpinistička zbirka u Zavičajnom muzeju u Ogulinu te Horvatove stube na Medvednici.

Lički gorski biseri

Planinarska obilaznica "Lički gorski biseri" (LGB) obuhvaća 13 atraktivnih vrhova na Velebitu i po Lici, koji uz planinarsko značenje, imaju i povijesno značenje.
Obilaznica je točkasta i nema zadane trase. Prilazi do kontrolnih točaka su markirani, a posjetitelji sami biraju kojim će se putovima koristiti. Za osvajanje atraktivne značke “Lički gorski biseri” treba obići barem 10 od 13 kontrolnih točaka. Vrhovi Lisac, Ostrovica i Zir su obvezne kontrolne točke, a među ostalih uvjetnih 10 KT obilaznik sam odabire koje će posjetiti. Kontrolne točke su: 1. Lisac (1449 m) – obvezna KT 2. Ostrovica (845 m) – obvezna KT 3. Zir (850 m) – obvezna KT 4. Veliki Rajinac(1667 m) 5. Crni vrh (1197 m) 6. Oštri Kozjak (1168 m) 7. Konjevača (1381 m) 8. Visočica (1619 m) 9. Crnopac(1404 m) 10. Oklinak(1187 m) 11. Kremen (1591 m) 12. Mrsinjgrad (1097 m) 13. Oštri Medvjeđak (889 m) Posjet svakom vrhu obilaznik dokazuje otiskom pečata u dnevniku ili fotografijom na kojoj se mora vidjeti obilaznik pored natpisa s nazivom vrha. Pečat se utiskuje ispod opisa kontrolne točke na parnim stranicama ovoga dnevnika. Po završetku obilaska, obilaznik treba ovjereni dnevnik poslati na adresu PD “Željezničar”, Kaniška b.b. Gospić. Obilaznicima koji zadovolje sve uvjete PD “Željezničar će poslati numeriranu trofejnu značku. Dnevnik “Lički gorski biseri” planinarska društva ili pojedinci mogu naručiti telefonom, faxom ili pismenim putem (plaća se pouzećem ili na žiro-račun PD “Željezničar”: 23409-1100147419 kod PBZ – PJ Gospić). Planinarska obilaznica “Lički gorski biseri” obilazi se na osobnu odgovornost, uz poštivanje pravila sigurnog boravka u planinama. Pri odabiru pristupa treba se koristiti opisima i zemljovidima u dnevniku “Lički gorski biseri”, kao i postojećim planinarskim zemljovidima i zemljovidima nacionalnih parkova, turističkih zajednica i sl. |

Highlander
Upravo je planina Velebit u Hrvatskoj mjesto gdje je rođena HIGHLANDER avantura, pokret sve popularniji i u svijetu. HIGHLANDER je osnovalo nekoliko entuzijasta koji su se 2017. godine okupili na ovoj atraktivnoj planini, s idejom da se kroz višednevno pješačenje pruži mogućnost upoznavanja Velebita.. Radi se o petodnevnoj aktivnosti koja uključuje kretanje kroz prirodu, uz elemente društvenog iskustva tijekom planinarenja. Tijekom tih pet intenzivnih dana na trasi od 100+ km, s 5 obveznih točaka, sa šatorima na leđima i ostalom pratećom opremom, sudionici imaju slobodu odabrati različite rute i ići tempom koji žele. Na kontrolnim točkama organizator osigurava hranu i vodu za sljedeći dan, a vaše je da hodate i uživate.
Nakon Hrvatske projekt se širi cijelom svijetom pa sad HIGHLANDER imaju mnoge države kao što su SAD, Velika Britanija, Crna Gora, Egipat, Austrija, Maroko, Slovenija, Srbija, Bosna i Hercegovina, Gruzija, Sjeverna Makedonija, Grčka i U.A.E.
Iako je HIGHLANDER planinarski događaj na duge staze (long-distance hiking), on nije samo za profesionalne planinare, već i za one koji volite prirodu i željni su aktivnosti na otvorenom.
Staze su pažljivo osmišljene od strane lokalnih planinara, tako da svaka staza nudi jedinstveno iskustvo i priču. Ono što HIGHLANDER čini zaista jedinstvenim iskustvom je činjenica da svi sudionici prolaze kroz istu HIGHLANDER rutu, a svaki od njih ima svoje jedinstveno iskustvo i priču na kraju svoje avanture života.
Tijekom Higlander avanture imate mogućnost proći kroz atraktivne predjele i upoznati zanimljive ljude, i to mnogo njih, na putu, s kojima dijelite strast, možda viziju, i barem dijelite avanturu.

Cilj ove planinarske staze je povezivanje jednom stazom i višednevni obilazak svih planina oko Sarajeva. Obilazila se u jednom smjeru od mjesta Srednje, preko Ozrena, Bukovika, Crepoljskog, mjesta Sumbulovac, Romanije, mjesta Stambolčić, Ravne planine, Jahorine, mjesta Trnovo, Treskavice, Hojte i Bjelašnice do mjesta Pazarić, te izdvojene tačke transverzale Zemaljski muzej u Sarajevu i Trebević. Staza je vrlo teška, duga oko 100 milja sa ukupnom visinskom razlikom od oko 6000m. Nakon 30 godina Amra i Anis (na Fb i Insta Ljepote Bosne & Planinar.ba) odlučili su da prvi ponovno obiđu ovu planinarsku stazu i na taj način je promovišu i vrate u svijet planinarstva Bosne i Hercegovine. Solo Hiking The Peaks of The Balkans - Silent

THE PEAKS OF THE BALKANS I decided to customize the route, including three peaks: • Zla Kolata (2,534m) - Highest peak in Montenegro • Gjeravica (2,656m) - Highest peak in Kosovo • Maja Jezercë (2,694m) - Highest peak in the Dinaric Alps, second highest in Albania I also included Grebaja valley with three peaks: Volusnica, Talijanka, and Popadija. This was a brilliant decision, as it became one of the most scenic places of the trip. I think it's a must-visit if you ever decide to hike the "POB". I didn't have enough time to complete the entire trail, so I decided to skip the northern part. Later, I found out that many hikers do the same. I heard some parts of that section involve just walking on roads. The official "POB" start is in Theth (Albania), so that's where I began. I finished my trip there after two weeks, essentially in the same spot. Many things happened during this hike. If you watch the entire film, you'll see that. There were times when I was struggling, and in those moments, my focus was on safety and survival. So, apologies, but I wasn't thinking about filming in those situations. Sometimes I couldn't film because I was saving battery, or there simply wasn't time. In the end, I got what I got. I made many mistakes, but I really hope I learned from them. The extreme heat every day, averaging 33°C (91°F), made it really difficult to find water sometimes. Many places are very dry. That's my main excuse if something went wrong. :) Visited places: THETH, VALBONA, KUKAJ, ZLA KOLATA, CEREM, DOBERDOL, GJERAVICA, KRONI TEDEL, BOGICEVICA, BABINO POLJE, BAJROVICA KATUN, HRIDSKO JEZERO, PLAV, VUSANJE, GUSINJE, GREBAJA (Volusnica, Talijanka and Popadija), MAJA JEZERCE. In the summer of 2022 two friends hiked a large part of the Peaks of the Balkans Trail: A breathtakingly beautiful hike leading through Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania. The trail is 192 long and has a total of 9600m of altitude gain. We hiked 126km of the trail, skipping most of the trail running through Kosovo due to time restraints. The hike exceeded our expectations, it was utterly beautiful and the people we met were all very friendly. Dieses Mal haben wir die gesamte Reise festgehalten und präsentieren stolz unsere neueste Dokumentation. Unsere Reise startete in Peja, Kosovo, nachdem wir in Pristina gelandet waren. Von dort aus begann unsere Wanderung in der malerischen Rugova-Schlucht und führte uns durch das bezaubernde Reke e Allages. Unser Pfad führte uns entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn durch Montenegro und Albanien, wo wir die charmanten Dörfer Plav und Teth kennenlernen durften. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt unserer Reise war unser Erlebnis am Maja e Borit, dem Hausberg von Plav. In Tethi gönnten wir uns einen wohlverdienten Ruhetag, bevor wir unsere Wanderung fortsetzten und die atemberaubenden Landschaften von Valbona und Cerem durchstreiften. Unser Abenteuer führte uns schließlich nach Doberdol, wo wir den Gjeravica bestiegen, den höchsten Berg im Kosovo. Der Peaks of the Balkan wird für immer eine wundervolle Erinnerung in unseren Herzen bleiben. As the clock strikes 6 am, we commenced our journey from the Doberdol Summer Village in Albania, where tranquility meets the heart of adventure. With the sun just beginning to rise, we wasted no time and immediately embarked on a steep climb towards the Three Border Pass. This sunrise ascent unveiled breathtaking views of Doberdol from above, a sight that served as a reminder of how far we had come and how much lay ahead. Crossing the border into Montenegro and then into Kosovo, we traversed a picturesque ridge with panoramic views of the lush Dobrosh Pastures, offering a moment of pause to take in the natural grandeur. Venturing a few kilometers into Montenegro, we once again re-entered Kosovo through Belegu pass. Hiking through the picturesque Belegu pastures, we were surrounded by the beauty of the landscape, a vivid reminder of the unspoiled nature of the Albanian Alps. The trek led us to Roshkodol pass, a highlight of the journey. With each step, we traversed Roshkodol’s pastures, forests, and rejuvenating springs, connecting deeply with the natural world around us. As we approached the village of Roshkodol, the realization of the vastness and beauty of the Albanian Alps, in Kosovo so-called “Bjeshket e Namuna”, fully sank in. The final kilometers took us through pastures and forests towards the charming Milishevc village. |

ABOUT THE PEAKS OF THE BALKANS The Peaks of the Balkans is a 192 kilometer trail through Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro. The trail was created to support the local populations in the remote mountain regions surrounding this border region. Originally, the trail was established on local shepherd trails. Due to an increase in tourism and a stronger local economy however, trails are now often replaced by sections of road hiking. My fiancée and I decided to skip some of these sections by hitchhiking or employing the service of local taxi drivers. Regardless, the Peaks of the Balkans still offers a genuine mountain experience in one of the lesser known regions of Europe. Even in August, the amount of wildflowers on the trail was simply stunning! Though wild camping is permitted along the trail, I recommend staying in local guesthouses. This way, you can travel light and enjoy the local cuisine while also supporting the very friendly local population.
